Which format should I choose?
JPG suits photos, PNG preserves lossless detail and transparency, and WebP supports efficient compression and transparency. The best choice depends on your image and where you will use it.
Will converting always make the file smaller?
No. File size depends on the image, format and quality. JPG does not support transparency, so transparent areas must be flattened.
